Jeannie’s role as a Solution Owner at 7Rivers is multifaceted, encompassing project/program management, business analysis, and solution delivery. Her responsibilities shift depending on the team and project needs. Jeannie is known for her exceptional cross-functional communication skills with clients, prioritizing their needs, and bringing strategic value to their operations. She thrives on bringing order out of chaos and helping clients transition from production shops to strategic environments. Her ability to foresee problems, adapt quickly, and truly understand clients’ pain points makes her an invaluable asset.
Professional Journey
Jeannie’s career path is anything but traditional. At 30, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology while working full-time, a testament to her determination and hard work. Transitioning to the STEM field was a significant shift, starting with entry level data entry and reporting analyst roles. She taught herself Excel and SQL, which led her to a newfound passion for data warehousing. Jeannie pursued further education receiving a Master’s of Science degree in Business Analytics, focusing on statistical analysis using Python & R. Her passion for modeling data and helping businesses leverage it more effectively propelled her into consulting and implementation roles. Jeannie’s background in end-to-end analytics enablement, combined with her ability to speak both technical and business languages, makes her a unique asset. Her achievements in a male-dominated field and her relentless pursuit of growth have paved the way for her current role at 7Rivers.
Personal Insights and Interests
Outside of work, Jeannie embraces the great outdoors, enjoying activities like hiking and camping in the beautiful landscapes of Colorado (and world travel whenever possible!). She has a particular fondness for water and the ocean, which is reflected in her two aquariums. As an avid reader, history buff, and classic sci-fi enthusiast, Jeannie loves diving into books, series, and movies. She has also recently rediscovered her passion for crocheting. And when she can find the time, Jeannie enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons.
