In his keynote, Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy described a progression that moves from data foundations, to business insights, to intelligent agents capable of taking action. Snowflake Intelligence Becomes CoWork
Snowflake officially rebranded Snowflake Intelligence as Snowflake CoWork, positioning it as a personal AI agent for knowledge workers.
CoWork is designed to learn from user behavior, understand business context, and proactively assist employees with research, analysis, and decision–making.
Cortex Code Becomes CoCo
Cortex Code was rebranded as Snowflake CoCo, an AI–powered developer agent that helps engineers build applications, automate workflows, and accelerate development directly within their preferred tools.
New integrations include:

- Claude Code
- CoCo Desktop App (Private Preview)
Natoma Acquisition
Snowflake announced plans to acquire Natoma, an enterprise MCP governance platform.
This move extends Snowflake’s governance strategy beyond data and into agent governance, enabling secure, audited, and governed access between AI agents and enterprise systems.
Expanded AWS Partnership
Snowflake deepened its strategic relationship with AWS through a multi-year $6B commitment focused on AI infrastructure, workload migration, joint go–to–market initiatives, and Graviton chips.
Anthropic Partnership Deepens
Anthropic’s Claude models now power both CoWork and CoCo experiences. Building on the $200 million multi-year agreement signed in December 2025, the two companies announced significant new momentum in their partnership.
Snowflake is now one of six launch partners in Anthropic’s Claude Marketplace, enabling customers to apply their existing Anthropic commitments to Snowflake AI capabilities. Claude Opus 4.8 was made available on Snowflake Cortex AI the same day as the keynote.
